ATLANTA — Former Bismarck-Henning star Dylan Dodd is back with the Atlanta Braves.

The Braves on Sunday recalled the left-handed pitcher from Class AAA Gwinnett to fill All-Star Max Fried's roster spot. Fried was placed on the 15-day IL retroactive to July 18 due to forearm neuritis.

Dodd made seven starts with the Braves in 2023 and was 2-2 with a 7.60 ERA. He is 2-7 with a 4.99 ERA this season with Gwinnett.
