Remember when Pete Orr played for the Atlanta Braves? He left the Braves at the end of the 2007 season, after spending eight seasons in the organization.
Orr, a baseball legend in Canada, spent the next six years with the Washington Nationals and Philadelphia Phillies, and most recently spent the 2014 and 2015 seasons with the Milwaukee Brewers’ AAA affiliate. Orr officially retired from Major League Baseball in early 2016.
But Orr, now 37-years-old, has decided to stay in baseball a little longer . . . just in a different role.
#Brewers get even more Canadian, adding @baseballcanada legend Pete Orr to pro scouting staff, promoting BC native Taylor Green to director.
