Former Atlanta Brave Fred McGriff received baseball’s highest honor on Sunday with his induction into the Hall of Fame.
McGriff joined rare company with the honor. He is just one of 17 Atlanta Braves ever to be inducted into the Hall.
McGriff made sure to shake the hands of nearly all of the 50 Hall of Famers who welcomed him at the ceremony at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York.
“I’m humbled and honored to be standing in front of you and now to be part of this fraternity,” McGriff said during his 20-minute speech.
