One former member of the Atlanta Braves reportedly has found a new home.
The free agent market has moved extremely slowly lately, but a former Braves All-Star and first-round pick has found his next opportunity. Ex-Braves All-Star Michael Soroka spent the 2024 season with the Chicago White Sox and will be joining the Washington Nationals for the 2025 campaign, according to The Athletic's Ken Rosenthal.
"Free-agent (right-handed pitcher) Mike Soroka in agreement with Nationals, source tells The Athletic," Rosenthal said.
Soroka logged a 4.74 ERA in 2024 with the White Sox across 25 total appearances -- including nine starts.
