In hilarious fashion, two episode of the Battery Power Podcast were published within mere moments of each other on Sunday evening into Monday morning. First, Scott Coleman and Brad Rowland chatted on Episode 430, discussing the comments of Alex Anthopoulos on Sunday, the state of the starting rotation, Dylan Cease, and more.
Then, seconds (!) after the show was published wherever you get your podcasts, word broke that Anthopoulos made a deal with the Seattle Mariners. As such, Brad and Scott fired up the microphones again for Episode 431 in a state of deliriousness.
The show includes the following:
- Jarred Kelenic is the clear prize of the deal for Atlanta, with the potential to be the starting left fielder in 2024 with tangible upside
- This is a complicated transaction, with the Braves taking on considerable money owed to Marco Gonzales and Evan White
- Gonzales might be able to help the back of Atlanta’s rotation, if healthy
- White has a fascinating profile, even if his inclusion seems to be primarily related to finances
- Much, much more
