R.A. Dickey turned in a brilliant performance as the Atlanta Braves snapped a five-game losing streak with a 6-3 win over the St Louis Cardinals.
The Braves struck first when they loaded the bases in the fourth against Cardinals starter Michael Wacha. Danny Santana brought the first run of the game home with a single to right and Ozzie Albies followed with a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0.
Atlanta went back to work in the fifth as Ender Inciarte singled to lead off the inning and came around to score on a two-run home run off the bat of Brandon Phillips.
