LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. -- R.A. Dickey has repeatedly said he has not been concerned with the results he has garnered during the Grapefruit League season. But the Braves knuckleballer certainly gained a much-welcome confidence boost as he moved toward the regular season with the good start produced during Saturday's 3-0 loss to the Mets at ESPN's Wide World of Sports complex.
"I think the biggest positive for any of us is leaving Spring Training both mentally and physically healthy," Dickey said. "I can't underscore how important being mentally healthy is. It's just about trusting the process, getting to know my teammates, putting in the work, being professional and getting ready for the season.
