The Braves received good news on Friday as shortstop Dansby Swanson has reportedly made progress since receiving treatment for the partially torn ligament in his left hand.
While he still needs to see how his hand reacts to swinging a bat this weekend, the Braves are cautiously optimistic he will be able to return for the NLDS. The NLDS begins on Thursday, October 4th.
Dansby injured his hand during Tuesday night’s game in New York and returned home to Atlanta the next day. Thankfully, the injury was not connected to the wrist problems he dealt with earlier in the year.
