Dansby Swanson to undergo MRI on sore wrist

The last thing the Atlanta Braves need over the final week of the regular season is for one of their regular players to suffer an injury. That is the exact situation they are dealing with after Dansby Swanson exited Tuesday’s game after appearing to injure his wrist during his second-inning at-bat against the Mets.

The Braves called Swanson’s removal “precautionary” but he left Citi Field to undergo an MRI exam. The team is expected to announce the results from the exam on Wednesday.

Swanson left the stadium to have his left hand/wrist examined.
