LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) -- Damon Berryhill, a catcher for the Braves, Cubs and three other teams in his 10-year playing career, has been named manager of Atlanta's Triple-A Gwinnett team.

The 53-year-old Berryhill joins the Braves after seven seasons in the Dodgers organization. He was named Pacific Coast League manager of the year in 2015.

Reid Cornelius was named Gwinnett's pitching coach on Monday. John Moses, who managed for 81 games in 2016 after Brian Snitker was promoted to Atlanta's manager, returns to his original role as hitting coach.

Berryhill played for the Cubs from 1987-91 and the Braves from 1991-93.
