I’ve been to opening day for the Nats almost every year, and my running joke with my Nats buddy is that I want to get there early to see them hand out the WS rings. The local media, and then eventually the ESPN and SI gang, have awarded the Nationals the WS crown in spring training each year since the 2013 season.
