County Stadium, the previous home of the Milwaukee Braves and Milwaukee Brewers, was first dreamed up in 1909, and was the first stadium to be wholly publicly owned,
It also was the home of a lot of memorable moments.

1953: The Boston Braves arrive
The Brewers used to be the name of a minor league team in Milwaukee, whose parent team, The Boston Braves, moved to Milwaukee in 1953 after a 40-year discussion finally came to fruition in the form of County Stadium.
