If everything goes to according to plan, it appears that Casey Kelly will make his second start of the season for the Atlanta Braves on Saturday against the Miami Marlins. Kelly started last Sunday's game in Philadelphia but there was some thought that Atlanta might turn to someone else next time around.
However, that doesn't appear to be the case now. Brian Snitker told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Michael Cunningham on Tuesday that Kelly will get the start on Saturday as long as he is not needed as an emergency bullpen arm between now and then.
Kelly allowed seven hits and three runs in five innings against the Phillies.
