CHADBOURN, N.C. (AP) -- The Carolina Mudcats baseball team has finally arrived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, after an early morning wreck sent several players to the hospital.
Multiple media outlets reported the bus carrying the Atlanta Braves' Class-A affiliate team it flipped on its side near Chadbourn shortly before 4 a.m. Tuesday.
Emergency Services Director Kay Worley told WECT-TV (http://bit.ly/1ExNbP2) that eight players and a trainer were taken to Columbus Regional Hospital for treatment. Everyone was released later Tuesday morning and the entire staff and full roster of players made the trip to Myrtle Beach.
