Former Buckhorn High School standout Kyle Wright will take the mound on Wednesday with a chance to all but put the Atlanta Braves in the World Series.
The right-hander will get the ball as the Braves' starting pitcher for Game 3 of the National League Championship Series after Atlanta defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers in the first two games of the best-of-seven series.
The Dodgers and Braves square off in Game 3 at 5:05 p.m. CDT Wednesday at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas. FOX Sports 1 will televise the game.
Wright has come a long way in a short time to get to this point.
