There is some speculation by Jeff Schultz of the AJC that Brian Snitker is set to retain his managerial position in 2018 after Freddie Freeman reportedly vouched for Snit to the front office.
Freddie Freeman is currently the longest tenured Brave in the Atlanta clubhouse and with that distinction comes some influence upon the front office. Freeman reportedly told Schultz “I went to them (Coppolella and Hart) a couple of weeks ago and expressed to them that we love Brian in here”. Freeman goes on to talk about how he believes that Snitker has given them guidance doing “everything possible to help us win”.
