Following the 2017 season and the John Coppolella-related chaos that ensued shortly after the final pitch of that season was thrown, Brian Snitker and his future as the Braves manager was up in the air. After seeing reports of the discord between the then-GM and current manager, it’s clear that had Coppolella not run afoul of Major League Baseball then Brian Snitker would not be the Atlanta Braves after 2017.
However, we all know what happened with that entire situation and flash-forward to a year later and things have changed dramatically. The Braves have returned to being a winner after a surprisingly successful 2018 season and the future is looking brighter than ever for the club as they look to build upon that success.
