The Atlanta Braves will continue their series against the Miami Marlins on Saturday with Mike Soroka squaring off against Trevor Richards. Atlanta took the opener on Friday 7-2 thanks in large part to a good relief appearance by Touki Toussaint and a pair of homers from Freddie Freeman and Brian McCann. They will look to keep it going again on Saturday.
Brian Snitker will stick with the same lineup as in Friday’s opener with Brian McCann behind the plate and hitting seventh. Ronald Acuña Jr. was 1-for-4 last night and is trying to fight his way out of a slump.
