MILWAUKEE, Wi (WSAU) — It was the first extra-inning game this season for the Milwaukee Brewers and the team made it a memorable one with a 7-6, 11 inning win over the Atlanta Braves on Wednesday afternoon at American Family Field.
Keston Hiura, just called up from AAA Nashville the previous day, hit a two-run homer in the 11th for the game winner. Hiura had replaced the injured Willy Adames on the roster.
The Brewers tied the game with two outs in the ninth inning on a triple from Kolten Wong. The Braves re-took the lead in the 10th but Milwaukee again tied it on a Hunter Renfroe sac-fly.
