NEW YORK – The Milwaukee Brewers resume their three-game series against the New York Yankees to open the 2025 season on Saturday afternoon from Yankee Stadium.
The Brewers lost the season opener on Thursday, 4-2. The teams had the day off on Friday.
Left-hander Nestor Cortes, acquired in a trade with the Yankees in the offseason, takes the mound for the Brewers.
Left-hander Max Fried, who signed a massive free agent deal with the Yankees in December after eight seasons with the Atlanta Braves, makes his New York debut.
