The Mets just had an eight-game winning streak snapped on Sunday, and will try to start a new one against the visiting Braves, who will conclude an eight-day road trip in New York.
The struggles of Bud Norris have forced the Braves to call on Mike Foltynewicz, who owns a 2.05 ERA in four starts at Gwinnett this year; he has, however, issued 14 walks in 22 innings. Folty has made just one other start against the Mets: June 14, 2015 in which he allowed six runs in 4.1 innings.
