Feb. 10—The Atlanta Braves' World Series trophy tour will make one of its first stops in Cobb County.
The Commissioner's Trophy will be at Kennesaw State's Stillwell Stadium for the Owl baseball team's home opener against Morehead State on Feb. 18. Game time is scheduled for 4 p.m.
During the next several months, the trophy will travel throughout various locations in the Southeast, with a total of 151 locations to commemorate the number of years of the Braves' franchise has been in existence.
The trophy will make numerous appearances around the metro-Atlanta area, including Colony Square in midtown Atlanta, a Georgia Tech women's basketball game at McCamish Pavilion, the HBCU Classic at Coolray Field in Lawrenceville and the Georgia Aquarium in Atlanta.
