The Atlanta Braves World Series trophy tour will stop Wednesday in Columbus.
The trophy, which the team won at the end of the 2021 season, will be on display on the lawn of the Tennessee Williams Home, 300 Main St., from 4-7 p.m., according to a social media post by the Columbus-Lowndes Convention and Visitors Bureau.
Yardbird Bento, Taco Amigo, Bulleys Lodge and Snowie Cool Treats will all be set up selling food at the event.
Atlanta defeated the Houston Astros in 4 games to 2 to claim the 2021 Major League Baseball title, winning a five-game divisional series against the Milwaukee Brewers and a six-game National League Championship Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers en route to the World Series matchup.
