Braves win wild thriller over Diamondbacks 7-6 in 10 innings

In what was one of the crazier games of the season, a wild pitch in the 10th inning proved to be the difference as the Braves beat the Diamondbacks 7-6.

The Braves entered the 9th with a 6-4 lead. Jesse Biddle was called on to close, and he promptly surrendered a double to lead off the inning. It took Arizona two outs to plate the runner and make it 6-5.

Paul Goldschmidt came to the plate as the Diamondbacks’ last hope, and he launched a hanging 2-2 curve into the left field bleachers to tie the game.
