While the Braves' first ever regular season home game at SunTrust Park won't happen until mid-April, select fans will only have to wait until March 31st to see a baseball game played at the new ballpark in Cobb County.
Earlier this year, we told you all to circle April 13th, 2017 as the tentative day for you to go see the Braves open up SunTrust Park for its inaugural regular season. Now, the team itself has announced an official, concrete date for the first ever game in the park. It will happen on March 31st, and they'll be playing the New York Yankees in an exhibition game.
