The Braves’ road trip got off to a rough start as they dropped the first two games of their four-game series against the Reds. Atlanta came back to win the final two to salvage a split in the series. Their road trip continues on Friday when they open a three-game set in Philadelphia against the Phillies.
Ronald Acuña Jr. made his debut for the Braves while in Cincinnati and played a big part in Thursday’s win finishing with three hits including his first home run. Atlanta is also close to getting back catcher Tyler Flowers who is currently on a rehabbing a strained oblique that he suffered on Opening Day.
