The Atlanta Braves could be in need of reinforcements if Juan Soto signs with the Philadelphia Phillies or New York Mets. They could turn to the trade market to add an arm this winter.
While listing "emergency" signings the Braves can make if Soto lands in the National League East, FanSided's Christopher Kline urged the Braves to make a blockbuster trade for Chicago White Sox ace Garrett Crochet.
"Sometimes it's best to zag when other teams zig. If the Mets or Phillies load up on offense with Soto, perhaps the Braves should take the opposite approach and add Garrett Crochet to arguably the best pitching staff in the National League," wrote Kline.
