Braves urged to sign two-time All-Star in line for $49 million deal

If the Atlanta Braves end up losing All-Star hurler Max Fried in free agency this winter, there are other options who could help.

Fried is one of the top three pitchers available in free agency along with Corbin Burnes and Blake Snell. It has been reported on numerous occasions at this point that Fried could land a deal worth north of $100 million and maybe even higher than $150 million.

That may be a little too expensive at this time for the Braves. There are other hurlers who will be available at cheaper price points who could still help, although they also haven't been with the organization for eight years like Max Fried.
