The Atlanta Braves have had a relatively quiet offseason, but one trade pitch has them acquiring a star pitcher in a multi-player blockbuster.
Bleacher Report’s MLB analyst Zachary D. Rymer released realistic trade pitches and one was a five-player blockbuster with the Minnesota Twins, that sees the Braves acquiring Pablo Lopez.
Braves acquire:
- RHP Pablo Lopez
- C Christian Vasquez
Twins acquire:
- C Drake Baldwin (Braves’ No. 1 prospect)
- RHP Hurston Waldrep (Braves’ No. 2 prospect)
- RHP JR Ritchie (Braves’ No. 6 prospect)
The proposed deal would be a blockbuster as Atlanta would acquire Lopez and Vasquez for three of their top prospects.
