It’s been a bit of a strange season for Chaz Roe. He started off the season on the 60-day disabled list following a lat injury and only threw two innings over three appearances for the Braves at the major league level this season. He’s also only thrown four innings over five appearances for the Braves in their minor league system and has been off of the 40-man roster since July 14, which is when the Braves outrighted him to Triple-A Gwinnett.
Now, he’s no longer part of the Braves at all, as the team has shipped him to the Tampa Bay Rays for cash considerations.
