It is hardly a secret that the Braves have been looking for new spring training accommodations for quite some time. The facilities at the Wide World of Sports and the surrounding Disney areas have not exactly gotten high marks and the travel time given the facility’s distance from other spring training areas has long been cited as an issue by team officials and players alike. After the Astros and Nationals moved their spring training locales, there will only be one team within 70 miles of the Braves, so a move to either Florida coast has long been pushed for.
