There were very high hopes for the Braves’ top pitching prospect Ian Anderson when he debuted against the Yankees and he delivered in a big way. The young right-hander flirted with no-hitting the Yankees and the sole blemish on his line was a solo homer as he dominated New York over six innings. If the Braves have any hopes of making a playoff run, they are going to need a substantial contribution from Anderson to make that happen.
Opposing Anderson for the Red Sox is former Braves top prospect Ryan Weber. If you want a laugh, as well as a lesson on both how not to write a prospect list as well as how not to react to a bad prospect list by yours truly, you should give this a read.
