The Atlanta Braves had a pretty quiet offseason, but can hope for some major additions in pursuit of an eighth-straight playoff bid.
The team was without stars Spencer Strider and Austin Riley for much of the 2024 campaign due to injury, and it is expecting both players to return in the early part of this coming season. But the healthy return of the team’s best player, Ronald Acuña Jr., could go the furthest in pushing a championship run in 2025.
Acuña has been one of baseball’s most dynamic players when healthy, with an electric combination of speed and power that earned him the Most Valuable Player Award in 2023 with 41 homers and 73 stolen bases.
