Dansby Swanson and Freddie Freeman had big days at the plate but an eighth inning implosion sent them to a 10-7 loss.
Swanson was locked in from the start going 3 for 3 with a double and an RBI. Freeman finished with two hits and knocked in three runs while Adonis Garcia was 3 for 4 including a double and two RBIs.
The Braves struck first in the top of the first as Swanson singled and later scored on a double by Garcia. The Tigers came right back with a run in the first and the second off of Braves starter R.
