We are less than a week away from Opening Day but the Atlanta Braves may not be finished adding pieces to their roster. The Braves announced Monday that they have signed veteran first baseman Matt Adams to a minor-league deal. Adams opted out of his minor-league pact with the New York Mets on Saturday.
This will be Adams’ second stint with the Braves but he will have to earn his way onto the major league roster. Atlanta currently has a full 40-man roster after adding pitcher Josh Tomlin and first baseman Yonder Alonso over the weekend.
