Well, this is one way for a professional baseball player to kick things off.

Braves infielder Johan Camargo was jogging onto the field from the dugout to take his position against the Phillies on Tuesday night, but he failed to make it that far.

While jogging onto the diamond, Camargo fell and injured himself. From the footage, it looks as if he simply landed the wrong way while attempting to hop onto the field.

It’s not the type of injury that happens in baseball often, and definitely not one that usually happens before the first pitch can even be thrown.
