Fresh off of a 5-3 road trip, the Atlanta Braves return to SunTrust Park where they will open an 11-game, 10-day homestand with a three-game set against the Milwaukee Brewers on Friday. Atlanta begins a stretch where 20 of the next 27 games will be played at home which could provide them the opportunity to make a move on the division leading Phillies.
The Braves will enter play on Friday with a 62-50 record and trailing Philadelphia by just one game in the NL East standings. The series is also important for the Brewers who are are 66-52 and trail the Chicago Cubs by two games in the NL Central.
