Sale (11-3, 2.71 ERA) is tied for the major league lead in victories and ranks sixth in strikeouts (127) and eighth in ERA.
Sale, 35, made the American League All-Star team in seven straight seasons from 2012-18 -- starting each of the last three -- before injuries derailed his career.
