Wednesday night was a lot of fun for the Atlanta Braves, with Ronald Acuña and Ozzie Albies leading the way to a victory over the Chicago Cubs. On Thursday evening, the home team will be seeking back-to-back wins and, by proxy, a series win over a high-end National League opponent.
Mike Soroka takes the ball for Brian Snitker and company in the series finale, and the youngster is coming off a very interesting start in Miami. Famously, Soroka’s outing was blemished after a Jose Bautista error led to a blow-up inning and, even if the Braves came back to win by a lopsided margin, the right-hander was unable to complete five innings of work.
