The Atlanta Braves trimmed four more players from its spring roster on Saturday. The team optioned pitchers Ian Krol and Ryan Weber to Triple-A Gwinnett and reassigned catcher Willians Astudillo and infielder Reid Brignac to minor league camp.

Krol struggled throughout camp nine hits, eight earned runs and four walks in just 5 2/3 innings this spring. His departure could lead the Braves to explore left-handed reliever options outside the organization. Weber entered camp hoping to make some noise in the team's rotation battle but was surpassed by John Gant who remains in the mix.
