With Monday’s win, the Braves trimmed their magic number to clinch the NL East to 11. They will enter play Tuesday with a three-game cushion over the Philadelphia Phillies.
Brian Snitker announced after the game Monday that Jesse Chavez will start a bullpen game for Atlanta Tuesday. Snitker added that both Touki Toussaint and Drew Smyly, along with the rest of the bullpen will be available.
