The Braves announced on Monday that they have recalled infielder Rio Ruiz from Triple-A Gwinnett. Ruiz will likely spend the remainder of the regular season in a bench role for Atlanta, whose roster now stands at 36 players with three weeks remaining. Ruiz was recalled just prior to September roster expansion and went hitless in two at-bats before being demoted on August 31st.
