Kyle Muller’s stay on the active roster was a short one as the Atlanta Braves continue to add fresh arms to their bullpen. The Braves optioned Muller Thursday afternoon and recalled right-hander Jacob Webb to the active roster.
Muller allowed four hits and two runs in one inning in his debut in Wednesday’s loss to the Red Sox. His short stay isn’t terribly surprising as it came as a result of Tucker Davidson’s early exit in Tuesday’s game. Atlanta needed a fresh arm for the bullpen Wednesday and Muller was initially scheduled to start for Gwinnett.
