Braves projected to trade for $50 million All-Star to address key lineup weakness

Do the Atlanta Braves have a good plan for their outfield this season?

When Ronald Acuña Jr. got hurt at the end of May last year, the corner outfield spots became a black hole. Jarred Kelenic went through hot streaks and deep slumps, and Adam Duvall was abysmal, forcing the Braves to wheel and deal for replacements like Jorge Soler and Ramón Laureano.

Heading into the new year, it appears Kelenic and new signee Bryan De La Cruz are both earmarked for starting roles on Opening Day, as Acuña tries to recover from his ACL tear to return early in the regular season.
