The Atlanta Braves could snag a World Series champion this winter.
As the team looks to reinforce its roster around healthy returns for Ronald Acuña Jr., Spencer Strider and Austin Riley in 2025, the front office is likely to seek some rotation help. Veteran hurlers Max Fried and Charlie Morton might be departing and the pitching staff could bring in a new name to help carry the load.
With that in mind, Tim Kelly of Bleacher Report predicted that the Braves will sign free-agent pitcher Jack Flaherty to a three-year, $60 million contract after a season that started with the Detroit Tigers and ended with the Los Angeles Dodgers and a World Series parade.
