As we continue our look at the 2020 Atlanta Braves player pool, we come to another MLB veteran journeyman. The 33-year-old utility infielder has seen better days, but in a 2020 season with much uncertainty, his versatility could prove useful at some point.
Solarte was signed by the Minnesota Twins way back in 2006 as an 18-year-old out of Venezuela. It was in large part thanks to his uncle (or cousin, depending on which site you read) Roger Cedeño, who carved out a respectable 11-year MLB career thanks to his wheels and ability to get on base.
