The Atlanta Braves bullpen takes another hit as the club announced Thursday that reliever Chris Martin is headed to the 10-day injured list due to inflammation in his right elbow. Martin allowed two hits, a walk and the go-ahead run in Wednesday’s 4-3 loss to the Dodgers. The team recalled lefty Sean Newcomb to take Martin’s spot on the active roster.

Martin hasn’t been nearly as dominant in 2021 and his numbers suggest that perhaps he has been battling physical issues.
