The Braves shuffled some players between Gwinnett and Atlanta today in hopes of getting a fresh arm in the bullpen.
When Casey Kelly took the hill in extra innings last night, he probably did so knowing that that appearance would likely be his last with the Braves at least for the time being. After starting on the 22nd and throwing 85 pitches, the Braves were forced (due to some questionable bullpen management and the inability of many of the relievers to be effective for a decent stretch...looking at you Bud Norris) to bringing Kelly in from the bullpen in extra innings where he threw another 76 pitches.
