Braves’ offense held in check in 5-0 loss to Giants

The Atlanta Braves were unable to come up with a big hit in a 5-0 loss to Logan Webb and the San Francisco Giants Saturday night.

The Braves quickly found themselves behind as Tommy La Stella sent the fifth pitch over the wall in right to give the Giants an early 1-0 lead. Atlanta tried to answer in the home half of the first as Ozzie Albies and Austin Riley both reached on singles but Dansby Swanson grounded out to leave them stranded.

San Francisco struck again in the third. Huascar Ynoa struck out Mike Yastrzemski to begin the inning but then allowed a double to pitcher Logan Webb.
