BRAVES NEWS
Julio Teheran was brilliant against the Marlins once again, which should ease some of the concerns after his last start. Offensively, the Braves managed only three hits, but made all of them count. Tyler Flowers had an RBI triple in the second inning, Adeiny Hechavarria followed with a two-run homer, then Ronald Acuña, Jr. added a two-run homer in the fifth. Those were the only three Braves hits, but they were enough to propel them to a 5-0 win.
The Braves have been bitten by the injury bug quite frequently of late, and were bitten again on Wednesday as Brian McCann was placed on the IL with a left knee sprain.
